How to Get Started

Here is what you need to join/use the Azalea Discussion Forum

It's easy to use. Just go to the group home page and sign up for your free account. It only takes a minute and it is completely free and easy to use.

How to Use

  1. POST A MESSAGE: If you have a question or need help with something about azaleas, rhodies, or gardening in general, please post a message to the group.

  2. REPLY TO A MESSAGE: If you can answer a question that was posted, please reply to a post.

  3. BE POLITE: If you want to state your opinion on a topic, please feel free to do so, provided that you are polite and do not to offend anyone who disagrees with you.

  4. SHARE DATES & EVENTS: If you know of any related events, please add them to the calendar. If you think they are worthy of being posted on our official website (i.e., they are of general interest to our entire group, please inform either John Migas or Marty Anderson.

  5. SHARE LINKS: If you have any websites you think are great and that you would like to share, please post them to the Links section.

  6. UPLOAD PHOTOS: If you want to show off your photos to the group or submit them to be included in our website (www.azaleas-lake-michigan.org), please upload them to the Photos section.

  7. INVITE OTHERS: If you know of anyone who you would like to become a member, invite them to join our group, both online here and in the official Lake Michigan Chapter. Reach out to and welcome new members. If we want to be known as a friendly, welcoming group, able to attrach and keep new members, each of us needs to do our part.

  8. SIGN YOUR NAME: And lastly, but perhaps most importantly, please update your online profile to show your real name and/or nickname. Most of us will not recognize you by your email address alone. Since this is a private group and each memember has to be approved, it is completely safe to do this.
